Here’s an amazing story and one that was suggested to me by Dr. Burns’ longtime friend, Kathy B, an elderly lady I met at a meeting in Huntsville Alabama. She drug me to a local IHOP and kept me there till after midnight. She told me about being sober for 44 years, guided me towards new growth, all the while drinking coffee, giggling like a much younger woman, laughing for hours.
Kathy was the highlight of my trip, and listening to this speaker tape was the highlight of the 10 hour drive back home.
